Laserfiche Workflow Instructions – Management Evaluations

NOTE: Beginning 04/15/2019, you will need to download a new version of the Management Evaluation form. To get a copy of this form, please click here (avail. 4/15):

- Employee: After filling out the form, send the completed electronic copy to your Supervisor via email. Ensure that you save it in fillable PDF format.
- Employee & Supervisor: Meet in person to discuss the Evaluation. The Employee and the Supervisor should then each sign and date the signature lines on Page 6 of the Evaluation, saving it in fillable PDF format as you go.
- Either the Employee or the Supervisor can now log on to Laserfiche by clicking on the Laserfiche icon on your desktop
, making sure that the “Use Windows Authentication” checkbox is checked, and clicking on the “Open” button:
- Open the SCOE\Evaluation Submissions folder by double-clicking on the folder.
- Drag and drop your Management Evaluation from the saved location on your computer into the SCOE\Evaluation Submissions folder in Laserfiche.
- Review import options on the General tab only to ensure they match the following:
- Once complete, select the “OK” button.
- Once the document lands in Laserfiche, give it about 10-15 seconds for Workflow to see it and move it on the next step. You will know this occurs when your Laserfiche screen flashes briefly and the document disappears. You can now log out of Laserfiche.
- After Laserfiche Workflow picks up the document and moves it to another folder for review, a confirmation e-mail will be sent notifying both the Employee & Supervisor that the Evaluation was successfully submitted. The confirmation email could take several minutes to receive. A non-modifiable copy of the Evaluation will be attached to the email for confirmation.
NOTE: If any issues were found with the submitted Evaluation, you will receive an email back with the Evaluation attached and a list of errors that need correction.

- Drag & Drop the Management Evaluation from the saved location on your computer into the SCOE\Evaluation Submissions folder in Laserfiche.
- Review options on the General tab:
- Once complete, Click on the “Import” button.
- Once the document lands in Laserfiche, give it about 10-15 seconds for Workflow to see it and move it to your Supervisor’s folder for you. You will know this occurs when your Laserfiche screen flashes briefly and the document disappears. Workflow will sign the document with your User ID, and this will act as your electronic signature. You can now log out of Laserfiche Web Access.
