Through our software agreement with Microsoft, all SCOE employees have access to the Microsoft Office Home Use Program (Microsoft HUP). SCOE employees can purchase Office Pro 2019 or Office Home and Business 2019 for $14.99 each. While The Home & Business version is compatible with both Windows 10 (Windows 7 not supported) and Mac OS (currently macOS 10.12 Sierra or higher), the Office Pro version is only compatible with Windows 10.
Your license to purchase Microsoft HUP is valid as long as you are employed by Stanislaus County Office of Education and have a valid SCOE email account. You will need to use your SCOE email address to take advantage of this great offer.
Follow the link to Microsoft Home Use Program’s web site to purchase software for your personal computer: https://www.microsofthup.com/hupus/default.aspx?culture=en-US. Directions pop up as you enter information. Use your work email on the first screen. When making your purchase, be sure to use your home email address (not your SCOE email account) to have a download link and key sent to your home email address.
You can find Frequently Asked Questions here: https://www.microsofthup.com/hupus/faq.aspx?culture=en-US
You may notice a short delay when trying to access files on a network drive. This delay is expected behavior due to our server antivirus software scanning files in real time to provide up-to-date protection. The delay should only be about 5-10 seconds, but if you notice excess delays, please contact the Help Desk to troubleshoot the issue further.
